Abu Ramada Island

Nicknamed 'The Aquarium', Abu Ramada is a reef island off Hurghada famed for dense coral pinnacles and the shimmering clouds of glassfish that swirl around them. Sheltered walls and coral towers create an easy, fish-packed playground where snorkellers and divers move between swarms of anthias, sweepers and reef fish in bright, warm water.

The south side's pinnacles are the classic draw, rising from the sand in colourful columns that teem with life.
